Moving Right Along - from Plagiarist to...

Plagiarist is moving, and I hope you'll come with me to its new location.

Over the past year and a half, I've really enjoyed doing this blog thing, but have decided that I want to move it in a different direction. I want to continue everything I've done over here - links and essays that I think are fun and interesting for some reason - but I also want to get a bit more personal. I want to be able to use the site to help promote my various performance-based activities (like my gigs with Mike or my commercials and plays). I want to bitch about my wife and family. That sort of thing.

I also want to be able to host lots of mp3s and other files without relying on somebody else's server or bandwidth. (Yup, that's right, I want to pay for it all on my own.) So all these things have convinced me that it's time for a change.

I want to give a thank-you to those who have posted on Plagiarist's behalf. A little thank-you goes to Z and Krischelle as they totally abandoned the blog ages ago. :) Big thanks goes to Mike for posting some really great stuff here either because he felt it belonged on this blog, or because he posted it accidentally here instead of Down With Snark! and was too lazy to change it. And the biggest thanks of all goes to Brian, who kept Plagiarist alive many times when I was too lazy to post anything. Brian, I'm not saying I understood the appeal of half the shit you posted, but I appreciate you posting it nonetheless. :)

There is a discussion forum at the new location, and I hope that both of you will use it to continue to post things you think are interesting but are too lame for your own blogs. :)

So please join me over at my new website, jasonhare.com, and if you are one of the people that has been kind enough to link to Plagiarist, please update your links. I appreciate your stopping by and hope you'll continue to do so.

Thanks, and see you over at the new site!

Your Studio And You

Via digg comes this excellent video, which for some reason I've not heard of before. Your Studio And You, so sayeth Wiki, was the first Hollywood project by Trey Parker and Matt Stone. Commissioned by David Zucker, the duo created a mock educational film about Universal Studios following its take-over by Seagram.

Not bad for two douchebags without a script, huh?
