This Day In Music allows you to enter your birthdate and figure out what song topped the charts as you popped out of your mom. (ohhhh.)
I had a good birthday. May 16, 1977: "Sir Duke" by Stevie Wonder (oh yeah.) In the UK, a medley of "I Don't Wanna Talk About It" and "The First Cut Is The Deepest" by Rod Stewart. Meh.
What was #1 the day you graced the world?
US: Kiss you all over - Exile
ReplyDeleteUK: Summer Nights - John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John
Seriously. C'mon. *sigh*
What are you talking about? Those are great songs! "Kiss You All Over" was even part of yesterday's post.
ReplyDeleteHere's a clip!
Invisibile Touch - Genesis and Papa Don't Preach - Madonna....ouch...damn the 80s....
ReplyDeleteDisco must have landed right after you were born Jason:
ReplyDeleteAugust 5, 1977
US - I Just Want To Be Your Everything - Andy Gibb (We are *totally* playing this song by the way)
UK - I Feel Love - Donna Summer (I would have preferred Don't Leave Me This Way, but not bad)
Damn, I love Sir Duke.
ReplyDeleteHere's mine: Love You Inside Out - The Bee Gees
US- Best of my Love by The Emotions, UK- Longing For You by Teresa, who the heck is Teresa?!
ReplyDeleteWoah, Woah, you got the best of my luh-uh-uhve!
