I'm so relieved that this story had a happy ending, but seriously, this is when you press the DirectTV "Emergency" button, which automatically reroutes all stations to The Disney Channel.

That was an epic landing. My pilot roommate called it a "greaser" and said that, aside from maybe some rumbling from the gear melting down, it was a smoother landing than most ordinary ones. We were all so sure the gear was just going to snap off! Way to go, Airbus.
