The New York Times has the best split-picture of the reactions in London and New York.
(BTW, that guy's mouth is filled with gasoline. Shortly after this picture, he set Bloomberg on fire.)
Hooray for New York not getting chosen, although I did like the thought of moving back home and subletting my apartment for $4000 a month.

Well, clearly Jess will have dropped me by then, and if same-sex marriage is still illegal, I can't move in with you, can I?
2 out of 3 so far... now just waiting for the Brooklyn stadium to get voted down...
Yay for London, let them have the crappy stadiums and traffic. I wouldn't have been able to sublet my apartment for exhorbitant amounts anyway, because they wanted to put the Olympic village in my neighborhood.
